Description
8/13/26 - This is an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It has all the correct markings: the "United States Property" marking, cross-canon military cartouche, and correct "FJA" inspector initials. It also has a proper "HS" marked High Standard barrel, but it has been parkerized. The entire gun has been refinished. There is very little actual finish loss, just some minor muzzle wear and a couple of dings on the metal on the right slide serrations. Fitted with with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "L" marked magazine. Mint bore.
