SOLD - 1945 Nazi Spreewerk P.38 Rig

3/10/21 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. This is a very late war P.38 from the Spreewerk factory. The finish is all original but a thin layer of finish as is normal for these late war guns. There is thinning and spotty patina on the front strap. Areas of minor wear around the muzzle, front edges of the slide, and one area on the right side of the slide. It has all matching numbers including the locking block. The late war grips are slightly different colors but in this late war (X prefix) they were using up leftover parts so these may be original. The bore is minty - shiny with strong rifling. The entire gun could use a good cleaning as it was stored with black grease. The action is excellent including the de- cocker. The magazine is a wartime Mauser Magazine with Eagle 135 proof on the spite. The gun comes with a pebble grain holster which is waffen proofed and 1944 dated.
