2/12/26 - This is a 1945 Remington Rand Model 1911A1 that was sold to the public the the CMP Program. It comes with its original CMP Pelican-style case and CMP certificate that lists this gun has being a field grade. The frame was made by Remington Rand in 1945, and both the slide and barrel are more replacements. There is a rack number sticker around trigger. Fitted with WW2-era reddish plastic grips and comes with a modern MECGAR magazine. The wear on the gun is concentrated mostly on the front strap, on the high edges of the slide, and around the muzzle. Mint bore.
