Description
2/27/26 - This is a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is "United States Property" marked with a military cross-canon cartouche and the proper "FJA" inspector initials. It has a post war "Square C" Colt barrel. Custom, post-factory stippling on the front strap. The thumb safety is replaced. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with an un-marked magazine. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation on much of the gun and some noticeable dings around the rear sight. Minty bore.
