Description
1/20/23 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 made at the end of the war in 1945. It is rare to find one this late in the "c" serial number block that is all matching. This one is matching and has one "Eagle 359" military proof on the right side of the slide, indicating the gun never made it out of the factory. Late-war cog hammer. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the front strap and hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some minor discoloration on both sides of the slide. Comes with excellent late-war grips and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional. There is some grease on the internals - could benefit from a good cleaning.Specifications
