Description
3/12/26 - This is Colt Officer's Model Target revolver that was manufactured in 1948. This revolver has retained about 70% of its original finish. Most finish loss exists along the barrel. There is thinning on a majority of the barrel and some finish loss on the edges of the chambers on the cylinder, as well as a thin turn line. The cylinder release lever has worn down the finish as well. Additionally, there is a scratch on the top strap just in front of the rear sight, and the frame shows scarce spots of pitting that appear to have been colored in. This Colt is fitted with brown and black marbled hard rubber grip panels with no signs of chips or cracks. The bore in the 6" barrel has strong rifling, but does have a light frost throughout. Mechanically sound with proper lock-up and timing. Comes with a period-correct wood-patterned Colt box, though it has no serialization.
