Description

3/16/22 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. This one comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap (where the bluing is virtually gone), so the profile views are not all that bad. There is minor muzzle wear and wear around the high edges of the slide. There are some small areas of tiny pin-pricking around the muzzle and high edges of the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent "Eagle 359"-proofed Walter grips. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling, but there are areas of freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
