Description
4/5/22 - This is a minty example of a "dual-tone" BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The barrel is blued, and the slide and frame have a phosphate finish, giving this gun its iconic dual-tone finish. It has retained about 97-98% of its original finish. There is just a hint of thinning on the front strap and hints of wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. There is some spotty discoloration on the phosphate parts - typical for this finish. Comes with nice black bakelite grips - the left panel is shaved down. Also comes with a rare late-war "U"-marked Walther magazine. Stone-mint bore. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
