Description
06/26/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand National Match made around 1954. The rifle is in excellent condition with a nice dark phosphate finish throughout. The stock has a shiny finish with light handling wear. The right side of the buttstock has a large Combat Infantryman Badge. The brass is developing some tarnish. The bore is bright with strong rifling but the muzzle shows some wear. The muzzle erosion rating is 3.5 and throat erosion is 4. The Op rod and front & rear sight are National match marked. The stock is glass bedded to the receiver and trigger guard. Barrel or Cylinder are not NM marked. The barrel is stamped SA F6535448 1-54 MD38. The side wall of the receiver is marked "SA 10-65" noting it was overhauled in October of 1965 at Springfield.
