Description

4/5/22 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. it has retained about 97% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are near-mint. There are just hints of wear on the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Minor wear in the ejection port. A few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct bakelite grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
