3/24/22 - This is a very nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a nice 1944-dated holster and two period-correct Walther magazines. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its bluing. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap but there is minor wear around the high edges of the slide. There are a couple of small areas of light wear on both sides of the slide. Some tiny spots of wear on the left side of the frame. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some very minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
