Description

3/24/22 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The entire gun has been arsenal-refurbished. It was likely done at a police arsenal, as evidenced by the matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. In any case, the gun has retained virtually all of its new bluing. There are a few extremely light scratches on the right side of the slide and a few tiny circular dimples in the metal on the front strap. Comes with a set of shaved period-correct grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
