3/29/22 - This is a nice example of a Walther PPK issued to the SS in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. This gun does not come with a matching magazine, but it is in the proper range for an SS-contract pistol. We know the owner of the matching-numbered magazine in Austria. We have reached out to him with no answer. We will provide this info to the purchaser of this gun. It has retained roughly half of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the slide, where there is also pin-pricking and tiny dots of oxidation. Minor thinning on the front strap. Comes with a brown grip - there is some noticeable cracking on the right side. Also comes with one Walther banner-only magazine. Note: the slide does not lock back with this magazine unless applying pressure to the mag bottom. Mint bore.
