Description
12/17/25 - This is a Vietnam War-Era Chinese Tokarev Type 54 manufactured in Communist China in 1964. It is all matching and comes with Chinese characters on the top of the slide. Dated 1964. It comes as a rig with a period-correct but mismatched magazine and a tan leather holster that is marked "TT-33", "1966", and "Vietnam". There is no way to prove these came home from the war together, but it would make sense that these markings were made by a US soldier who captured it. The gun has lost the majority of its bluing, but the most obvious sign of wear is the heavy oxidation and pitting most obvious on the left side of the gun. Fitted with correct black bakelite grips - tiny chip on the left side. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with frosting throughout.
