Description
6/2/22 - This is a nice example of a First Variation Walther Model 8 manufactured in the 1920's. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. This is an early example, as the serial numbers started at 390000. It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. There is thinning on both sides of the slide and on both grip straps. There is also noticeable spotty discoloration and oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the slide. A series of small dings on the front strap. Comes with nice period-correct grips and a proper "large W" magazine. The bore has almost no rifling left, and there is heavy pitting throughout.Specifications
