Description

4/26/22 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is "United States Property" marked and has the proper "Eagle S12" military inspection proof on the left side of the frame. It also has the proper "H P" Colt barrel. The entire gun has been professionally restored, so the bluing is bright and beautiful. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are some areas of very minor pin-pricking on the right side of the gun and back strap that have been blued-over. A few very light handling marks and scratches here and there. Comes with minty wood grips and a period-correct magazine that was re-blued. Minty bore.
