Description
7/29/22 - This is a nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. Import mark on the underside of the barrel. The "byf 43" on the left side of the slide was factory double-stamped, giving it a cool "shadowed" appearance. The gun has retained about 94-95% of its finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is a noticeable layer of brown patina under the finish throughout. Wear at the front left of the slide, in the ejection port, and around the muzzle. An area of minor pitting on the left side of the barrel and some light scratches here and there along the slide. Comes with nice period-correct grips and a proper Mauser magazine. The rifling in the bore is very worn with very minor pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional. The slide does not lock back automatically with this magazine, so we're throwing in a second period-correct magazine at no extra charge. Works perfectly with this magazine.Specifications
