Description

7/3/19 - This is an original 1st model Luftwaffe dagger, complete with the original scabbard and chain. The hanger and chain are unmarked but look aged and feel original. The scabbard has light paina on the metal fittings, and a slight bend at the tip. Leather is in tact. The blade is clean and excellent, but the maker marking is unusually weak. This maker reads "David Malsch , Steinbach (Thur)". The leather handle is excellent. We believe this is original despite the weak maker marking.
