SOLD - Spanish Mauser M43

5/5/22 - This is a nice example of a Spanish Mauser M43 Rifle. The Spanish M1943 Short Rifle was made by La Coruna in Spain. It is based on the German K98 Mauser and is chambered in 8mm Mauser. The Spanish M43, was produced in La Coru?±a until 1957, it was a variant of the 98k with a straight bolt handle, a front sight guard and a handle groove in the front stock much like the earlier Reichspostgewehr. It is chambered in 7.92?ó57mm ( 8MM Mauser ) caliber. This one is all matching and has the proper Spanish proofs throughout. The gun is in nice condition overall. There is minor muzzle wear and some light streaks of wear along the barrel. Noticeable thinning on the front barrel band and the floor plate / trigger group. Minor discoloration on the receiver. The stock is very nice but appears to have been lightly sanded. Small crack just behind the rear sight. Comes with a fairly worn leather sling. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking in the grooves.
