Description
5/2/22 - This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in April of 1938. The gun is all matching and comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. There is a "50" marking on the left side of the frame. This could be a rack or unit number, but we aren't exactly sure what it means. The gun has earlier features such as the small trigger guard and strawed small parts. It has retained about 94-95% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the trigger guard where there is also a series of small dings. There is also some light wear on the right side of the slide and a few tiny scratches along the barrel. Comes with period-correct wood grips where the checkering has been hand-modified. The are numbered in pencil, but it is illegible. The right panel has a repaired crack down the whole length. The bore is shiny with strong rifling.Specifications
