5/6/22 - This is a minty example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun is all matching (except for the side plate, which is un-numbered) and has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military acceptance proofs. There is an "asterisk" marking on the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back for repair. This gun also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor muzzle wear, one small spot of wear on the front strap, and a hint of thinning on the back strap. Very minor freckling on both grip straps. Comes with mint "Eagle 655"-proofed wood grips (un-numbered). The bore is shiny with strong rifling and very light freckling here and there.
