Description
5/20/22 - This is a nice example of an early Mauser HSC sold in the commercial market in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with a nice un-marked tan leather holster, a Mauser marked magazine, and a half-moon magazine. The gun itself has retained about 92% of its original high polish finish. Most of the finish loss is on the left side of the slide around the muzzle, where there is also some light spotty oxidation. There is a small area of wear on the right side of the slide and a small spot of discoloration on the left. Minor freckling on both grip straps. The front grip strap has an area of minor spotty wear and what looks like a letter "H" faintly scratched into the metal. Comes with un-checkered wood grips - small chip in the right panel. Minty bore.Specifications
