Description
5/19/22 - This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-cannon military cartouche, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. This one also has a scarce 2nd variation slide and is in the proper serial range for this variation. The gun comes as a rig with one period-correct "R" marked magazine and a very nice 1942-dated tan leather holster with its original lanyard. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges of the slide. Minor thinning on both grip straps and a few tiny handling marks here and there. Comes with excellent period-correct plastic grips. Mint bore.Specifications
