Description

5/19/22 - This is a minty example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in December of 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an "asterisk" marking on the left side of the frame, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. The gun comes as a rig with a nice "jwa" marked holster (no legible date) and a magazine with post-factory numbering on the bottom (not numbered). The gun has retained about 98% of its finish. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle, at the front edges of the slide, and a hint of thinning on the front strap. A few very light scratches here and there along the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct grips. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
