5/24/22 - This is a nice example of a French MAC Model 1935-S. The Pistolet automatique mod?®le 1935S (Automatic Pistol Model 1935S) or Mod?®le (Mle.) 1935 S is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 7.65mm Longue cartridge. A competitor in the 1935‚Äì1937 French military trials to select a new sidearm, it initially lost to the SACM 1935A, but production was ordered nonetheless to alleviate in shortages in pistols in the runup to the Second World War. MAC made about 56,000 of these pistols from 1946-56. This one is all matching and has retained roughly 80% of its finish. The majority of the wear is on the slide, mainly around the high edges and muzzle. Nice black plastic grips. Minty bore. Comes with two proper magazines.
