Description

6/7/22 - This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 37" military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. This one is a little difficult to rate, because it has an inherently thin wartime finish. In any case, we estimate that it has retained about 80% of its bluing. Most of the wear is on the grip straps, but there is also muzzle wear, minor wear around the high edges of the slide, a series of dots of discoloration along the left side of the slide, and one area of wear on the right side. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and one proper magazine. Mint bore.
