Description

6/28/22 - This is an excellent example of a "42 Code" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. The entire gun has been professionally restored, and most of the frame has a really nice plumb color to it. There is almost no actual finish loss - just some areas of light freckling along the right side of the gun and some light scratches along the left side of the barrel. Comes with nice matching numbered wood grips and a mismatched "Eagle 655" magazine. The top left portion of the left grip panel appears to have been cut down and re-checkered. The bore has strong rifling with areas of light freckling throughout.
