Description

6/8/22 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. It is all matching, has the proper "Waffen 135" military proofs, and has a police "Eagle L" marking on the right side of the slide. The finish is dark, so we believe it has been "dipped". In any case, there is virtually no finish loss, just a few tiny scratches here and there. Comes with excellent bakelite grips (cut down) and a period-correct "jvd" magazine. The bore has strong rifling with light freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
