Description

6/10/22 - This is a very nice example of a French Unique Model 17 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 251" military acceptance proof on the right side of the frame. It comes as a rig with an excellent and rare 1943-dated Ersatz or paper holster and two period-correct magazines. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some brown patina. There is minor wear around the high edges in general. Some scratchy wear on the right side of the slide and small dots of discoloration on both sides of the slide and frame. Comes with nice period-correct black bakelite grips - a few tiny chips in the paneling. Minty bore.
