Description

6/22/22 - This is a nice example of a wartime commercial Mauser C96, chambered in 7.63mm. This is all matching, has the proper "Double Crown U" proofs, and has an Imperial acceptance proof on the right side of the slide. There isn't much actual finish loss, but there is heavy brown patina, spotty oxidation, and pin-pricking throughout. Generally, there is wear around the high edges and some light scratchy wear on the underside of the barrel. Comes with fairly worn matching-numbered wood grips There is pitting in the bore throughout.
