Description

6/28/22 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There are hints of wear at the front edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and some very minor wear in the ejection port. Areas of light freckling on the front strap, both sides of the slide, and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent reddish grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and some very light freckling here and there. De-cocker is functional.
