Description

7/7/22 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It comes as a rig with two period-correct half moon magazines and a scarce Waffen-proofed holster with a "Mauser 7.65" ink stamp on the inside. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on both grip straps and an area on the right side of the slide where there is also some minor pin-pricking. Minor wear around the high edges in general. Comes with period-correct wood grips - the left panel is slightly warped at the top, and there is a small chip in the top left corner. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and very light freckling here and there.
