7/7/22 - This is a very nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines (one has a faint "Eagle 359" proof) and a cut and modified 1939 dated Luger holster. The gun itself has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap (where there is almost no finish left), but there is also wear around the high edges in general, muzzle wear, some thinning along the barrel, and an area of wear in the ejection port. Slight plumb color to the frame. It comes with excellent period-correct reddish bakelite grips. Very nice bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
