Description

7/13/22 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 91-92% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor muzzle wear and wear around the high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and a period-correct "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and just a hint of freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
