Description

7/13/22 - This is a very nice example of an RZM-marked Walther PPK manufactured in 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has the proper RZM logo on the left side of the slide. This one has retained about 94% of its original bluing with minor wear mainly around the high edges. While there is not much actual finish loss, there are small dots of oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the left side of the gun, and some light freckling on the front strap. Comes with an excellent brown bakelite grip and a period-correct finger extension magazine. The bore is excellent with strong rifling.
