SOLD - 1915 DWM Artillery Luger

7/20/22 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military. It has the proper Imperial proofs, but the gun is mismatched. The whole upper is mismatched to the lower, however, all of the parts of both the upper and lower are matching to themselves. The gun has retained about 93% of its bluing. There is minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and some of the high edges. Minor thinning and brown patina on the grip straps. Areas of spotty oxidation and pin-pricking around the muzzle, on the chamber, and on the right side of the slide. Comes with nice wood grips - the left panel is number and matching, the right panel is not numbered but has an Imperial proof. Also comes with a WW2-era police arsenal-numbered magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.
