Description
7/19/22 - This is a very nice example of a rare Sauer Behorden pistol. This is a Sauer Model 1913 issued to the Nazi-era Prussian State Police. This is evidenced by the "Starburst K" marking on the web of the trigger guard. This was the last iteration of this pistol before they switched over to the 38h. They were marketed to and almost exclusively sold to Nazi-era police organizations. They had added safety features, such as the additional trigger safety, making them appealing for police. Very few of these guns were produced. This one is all matching and comes as a rig with 1933-dated police holster (un-issued condition), one matching police arsenal-numbered magazine, and one un-numbered magazine. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear and light, somewhat spotty wear along both sides of the slide. Very minor thinning and freckling on the grip straps, especially the back. Excellent black bakelite grips. Mint bore.Specifications
