Description

8/1/22 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military acceptance proofs. There is also an "S.B.12555." police unit marking on the front strap. So presumably, the gun eventually ended up with the police. It has retained about 93-94% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is on the side plate, but there is also some wear on the front strap, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some areas of minor oxidation on the side plate and along the barrel. Comes with nice un-numbered wood grips and a police-style magazine numbered "2663". Very nice bore with good rifling.
