Description

8/2/22 - This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in February of 1944. The slide and frame are matching, but the barrel is mismatched (West German proofs) and the locking block is blank. It does have the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun has retained about 85% of its bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap. There is some light scratchy wear on both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Comes with very nice period-correct bakelite grips and a jvd magazine. The bore is very nice with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
