Description

8/1/22 - This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial German military acceptance proofs. British proofs on the right side of the barrel. It has retained about 93% of its bluing. There is not much actual finish loss, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation and freckling throughout. Some areas of minor pitting along the barrel and top of the receiver. Tiny scratches and handling marks here and there. Comes with nice matching-numbered wood grips and a mismatched period-correct magazine that has a blued tube. The bore has good rifling with some very minor freckling here and there.
