Description

8/2/22 - This is a nice example of a rare SS-contract Walther PP manufactured in 1940. This gun is all matching and is in the correct serial range for an SS-issued gun. It also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish with an area of obvious wear on the left side of the slide. While there isn't a lot of actual finish loss, there is noticeable brown patina, general dulling of the finish, and spotty oxidation throughout. Some small spots of more noticeable oxidation on the right side of the slide. Comes with nice black bakelite grips - a couple of tiny chips on the right side. The bore has great rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
