Description

8/18/22 - This is a nice example of an ultra rare Czech-marked Walther PPK manufactured in 1940. There were only about 600 total Walther PP's and PPK's delivered to the Czech's, and these guns were likely issued to local police or state security forces. This one is also unique because it has a lightweight duraluminum frame. It is all matching and the ejection port is marked with a rampant Czech Lion proof, 1940 date, and a "2673" police number. It has retained roughly 85% of its finish. Most of the finish loss is along the slide, where there is also pin-pricking. It appears that a second layer of black annodized paint was applied to the dural frame. Minor high edge wear on the frame with some pin-pricking under the finish. Comes with an excellent brown Walther grip (hairline crack on the right side) and a Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there are some areas of freckling, especially near the muzzle end.
