Description
5/2/23 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, "United States Property" marked on the underside of the barrel, and has the proper military acceptance proof on the left side of the frame. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1918-dated holster with its original lanyard. The gun itself has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is along the barrel and on the back strap, but there are also areas of spotty wear on the cylinder, on the front strap, on the top strap, and underside of the trigger guard. Areas of light freckling on both sides of the frame. Comes with fairly worn wood grips - minor bruising throughout and a noticeable gouge on the right side. Original lanyard ring intact. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth. Minty bore.Specifications
