Description

9/7/22 - This is a nice example of a Mauser HSC sold in the commercial market in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear on the high edges of the slide, thinning along the round edges of the slide, and spotty wear on both grip straps. Areas of pin-pricking throughout and brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with fairly worn period-correct wood grips - there is a chip in the top corner of the left grip and a larger chip in the bottom corner of the right grip. Comes with a period-correct Mauser banner magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
