SOLD - Pre-WW2 Commercial JP Sauer Drilling

9/16/22 - This is a very nice example of a Pre-WW2 JP Sauer Drilling hunting shotgun/rifle sold in the German commercial market. The shotgun barrels are chambered in 16 GA, and the rifle barrel is chambered in 7.8mm. It comes equipped with a very nice Hensoldt Dural-Dialytan 4x scope (excellent optics) with leather eye covers. It is all matching and has the proper German proofs throughout. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is very little bluing loss along the barrel, just some very light handling marks along the barrel and some very light pin-pricking around the receiver end. It looks like most of the original case-hardening on the receiver has worn away - the remaining case-hardening is mostly visible under the trigger guard. Some tiny dots of oxidation on the receiver as well. Excellent wood stock. All 3 bores are excellent and shiny. The rifle bore has very strong rifling.
