Description

9/16/22 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are minty. Just very minor wear on the very front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and a proper "Waffen 135" marked magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
