10/10/22 - This is an excellent example of a rare .22 Caliber Walther sold in the commercial market in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. It also comes with an original capture document dated August 21, 1945 that says "Walther Pistol 22 Cal". Unfortunately there is no serial number listed. It also lists a camera. The paper is starting to tear and was repaired with tape. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original high polish finish. There is minor muzzle wear and some wear along the round edge of the right side of the slide. Also one spot of wear at the base of the back strap. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and a proper .22 caliber finger extension magazine. Mint bore.
