Description
10/20/22 - This is a nice example of a Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 rifle. The serial number on the receiver dates it to 1910. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated June of 1942, evidence that this gun was reworked for re-issue in WW2. The gun also has a dark arsenal-refurbished finish. No markings on the stock. The bolt was electro pencil-numbered but does not match the receiver. The gun is in nice condition overall, but there are some areas of minor spotty wear on the receiver and around the front sight and some thinning on the bolt handle. The wood stock is nice, but there are a few noticeable gouges here and there, some bruising on the top of the handguard, and an area of scratching on the underside of the handguard. Mint bore.Specifications
