10/27/22 - This is a nice example of an FN Browning Hi Power issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and considered a transitional example with an earlier adjustable tangent rear sight, no slot on the frame, and has the later "Waffen 140" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a minty 1944-dated holster and two magazines - one appears to be post war, the other has what looks like an extremely faint "Waffen 103" proof. The gun itself has retained roughly 80% of its bluing. We believe some areas have been touched up with cold blue. In any case, there is generally wear around the high edges and splotchy discoloration and spotty wear throughout. Thinning on the grip straps. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.
