Description
11/30/22 - This is a nice example of a scarce 1914 Webley Mark I revolver that was originally issued to the British military during WW1 but was later converted to fire .22 caliber. The cylinder was replaced, a barrel sleeve was installed, and an additional rear sight was added. The left side of the rear sight assembly is marked "AGA Bisley Works". The gun has retained about 92% of its black enamel finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the underside of the barrel around the muzzle. There is minor wear around the high edges in general, minor thinning on the back strap, and some small chips in the finish here and there. The cylinder appears to be blued and buffed. Comes with nice brown bakelite grips. Mint bore.Specifications
